Snap Judgments for the Undeserving

Snap saves your Soul

The ever resourceful Klayr has recently let me in on her discovery of the online Advertising Slogan Generator.* In honor if this astounding find I have temporarily changed my blog description to my favorite slogan that it generated for me (see Blog title). I like it ... Pretentious, but potentially true.

Some of my other favorites were:
"Every kiss begins with Snap"
"A taste for Snap"

and (using "Judgment") the inexplicable:
"Ho ho ho, green Judgment"

*I've automatically set the thing to generate "Snap" slogans ... But feel free to introduce your own. Klayr suggests "anus" as a good starting point.

This made me weirdly happy...

... so I had to share:

Thanks to Tousled Pigtails for introducing us all to the concept of SPAM poetry. Oh yes, you use your SPAM to compose nifty poems ... and let me tell you, it is weirdly satisfying. I think it's the idea of giving something that is inherantly useless and annoying some sense of purpose. Or maybe I just really don't want to do my work.

Pigtails' ode to Spam (it's a Haiku!):

Here's my version (not cool enough to be a Haiku, but none the less gave me a strange sense of catharsis):

Some downing locust,
Your home credit agreement is about to END,
am I your girl?

I feel so post-modern and cool ... now, where did I put my beret?

Happy Spring

In honor of Easter and all things Springy I bring you an overload of cuteness!

Here's the kind of thing I'm talking about*

*See? Seriously, only view this if you are really prepared to squeal in front of your computer. Um, unless you're a guy, in which case only view this if you are prepared to surpress a squeal in front of your computer.

I've never been a fan of irony

I, along with the rest of Canada, am sick.
Three things are brought to mind by this tragic turn of events:

1. Janine is clearly trying to kill me.
2. Never underestimate the power of cute plush things to hurt you.
3. Perhaps posting on one's blog with a fever isn't the best idea in the world.

And on that note, I'm going to go lay down...

You need more stuff.

Okay, maybe not ... but once you see Think Geek, you probably will. I'm pretty sure that just about everyone I know will appreciate this.*
We have Janine thank for this source of all that is nifty, who sent me a fuzzy germ friend to keep me company at school.
Here he is, perched atop my computer:
*No! I'm not posting this because my birthday is coming up! Why do you ask?? {batts eyes innocently}
