Snap Judgments for the Undeserving: thoughts, musings and generally random opinions about whatever happens to catch my fancy. Generally, I'll admit, not that critial, but when I am, I'm certain it's unwarrented.

Strange foreign signs, season 2, part 1.
Sorry about the lack of strange foreign signs up 'till now. I can only point to three possible explanations for my lack of wit:
1. I've become European, and now everything looks normal 2. Germany is boring 3. I don't get out enough
I don't know if they have these signs where you are, but in Bonn they had signs under the crosswalk lights that said something like, "Obey your signals, on account of the children!" basically imploring you not to jaywalk since this will inspire the youths of Germany to become Godless Jaywalkers with no respect for authority.
I didn't know people looked up to me so much. I'll hand it to them though... no one jaywalked.
It's true, no-one here Jaywalks. I always assumed this was because of some very dire and unmentioned consequences that would be visited upon you bz the Polizei if you did ... I, for one, am intimidated.

(insert "I was only following orders" comment here)
